Are these Magento 2 extensions really free?
Yes. Their price is 0 and the checkout asks for no payment details. You need a customer account, because your downloads and Composer keys are kept in it.
Are free modules different from paid ones?
They are built, tested and released the same way, installed from the same Composer repository and listed with the same documentation, FAQ and release notes on their pages.
Can I install a free module on a client's store?
Yes. As with paid modules, an agency may install and maintain a module on a client's store under the client's licence. For a free module the client gets that licence at no cost.
What does Social Login Pro add to the free Social Login?
The free Social Login signs customers in with Google, Facebook and X. Social Login Pro is a paid add-on for Apple, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Amazon and GitHub.
